The Neutrino Sensor is a hardware device which captures packets in the 2.4GHz 802.11 band and performs packet analysis and statistics collection. The results of the packet analysis are periodically forwarded over the Ethernet network to a management console. The management console aggregates information from multiple sensors and can enforce security or analysis policies based on the data.
