Tesco CEO says Robin Terrell will lead UK business
LONDON (Reuters) - Tesco's new chief executive Dave Lewis said Robin Terrell had stepped in to lead the grocer's UK leadership team in the wake of the firm's accounting issue, which has resulted in four employees stepping aside. Terrell was previously Tesco's group multi-channel director. In a conference call with reporters Lewis declined to comment on whether UK managing director Chris Bush was one of the employees asked to step aside while investigations continue. The BBC and Sky News had reported that Bush was one of the four. (Reporting by James Davey; editing by Kate Holton)

AP Photos: Dynamite doesn't stop Peru narcos

In this Sept. 19, 2014 photo, a military helicopter flies over the VRAEM region, in Pichari, Peru. The region in the Apurimac, Ene and Mantaro River Valleys, or VRAEM, is the world's No. 1 coca-growing region. Security forces destroyed in the last two weeks more than 50 clandestine airstrips used by drug traffickers in the biggest offensive that seeks to combat the intense drug airlift to Bolivia. (AP Photo/Rodrigo Abd)PICHARI, Peru (AP) — The dynamiting of clandestine airstrips by Peruvian security forces in the world's No. 1 coca-growing valley cuts into profits but hardly discourages cocaine traffickers who net tens of thousands of dollars with each Bolivia-bound flight.
